Last week, a delegation of Quang Nam led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung visited the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang city on the occasion of the 45th Anniversary of Lao National Day (December 2nd, 1975 – December 2nd, 2020).
On behalf of the Quang Nam leaders, Permanent Deputy Secretary Dung briefly talked about the situation of the socio-economic growth, security and national defense of Quang Nam province.
At the same time, Mr. Dung congratulated Lao people on the achievements over the past 45 years and felt sorry for heavy losses Laotians suffered due to the coronavirus pandemic and recent natural disasters.
On behalf of the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang City, Consul General Viengxay Phommachanh thanked for the good wishes from Quang Nam delegation and re-affirmed the long-standing and steadfast relationship between the two countries Vietnam-Laos in general and the southern provinces of Laos and Quang Nam in particular.
In addition, he promised to try his best to better this friendship and open up more trade opportunities between the provinces of Laos and Quang Nam.
