(QNO) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently classified three historical sites in Quang Nam province as national-level historical relics.
The three classified historical sites are: the Tomb of the Celebrity Do Dang Tuyen (in Dai Cuong commune, Dai Loc district), the Tomb of the Celebrity Pham Phu Thu (in Dien Trung commune, Dien Ban district), and the Bo Bo Victory Monument (in Dien Tien commune, Dien Ban district).
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has designated protected areas for the three mentioned historical sites and authorized the Provincial People's Committee of Quang Nam to manage them in accordance with cultural heritage laws.
So far, Quang Nam has 2 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites (Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary), 1 UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve (Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An), 4 national special monuments, and 67 national monuments. Additionally, there are 383 provincial-level monuments.
