Quang Nam goes towards a smart urban area related to environmental protection

(QNO) - A workshop on building and developing a smart urban area related to environmental protection was jointly organized by the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee and Japanese Embassy in Vietnam on August 18. Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam People’s Committee Le Van Thanh participated in the event.

Overview of the workshop.

The workshop attracted many Japanese experts, representatives of the Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Information and Communication ... At the event, researchers presented their study results, the model and experience in building a smart and ecological urban area which are applied successfully in Japan, and in some Vietnamese provinces and cities.

In Quang Nam, the smart urban model is being implemented, focusing on building an e-government at all levels in Tam Ky city.
