(QNO) - Vice Chairmen of the People's Council of Quang Nam Province Tran Xuan Vinh and Nguyen Cong Thanh hosted a reception for a delegation of officials from People's Council of Champasak Province in Laos, led by its Chairman Saithong Xayavong on May 22.

Quang Nam province's officials expressed their delight to welcome the delegation from Champasak province.
Quang Nam and Laos' Champasak shared valuable experiences involving their councils’ works. It was an important activity, affirming the special traditional friendship and cooperation between the two provinces of Quang Nam and Champasak.
As planned, the working visit of the delegation from People's Council of Champasak Province will last until May 24.
The delegation also visits Hoi An Ancient Town and offers incense at historical sites in Quang Nam including the Vietnam's Heroic Mother Statue.
