(QNO) - On August 5, a high-ranking delegation of Savannakhet province of Laos, led by member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary and Governor of Savannakhet province Santiphap Phomvihane had a working visit to Quang Nam.
Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Phan Viet Cuong and Chairman of the Quang nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh received the delegation.
At the reception, Secretary Cuong said that the visit contributes to fostering the special traditional friendship between the two Parties of Vietnam and Laos in general, Quang Nam and Savannakhet in particular.
Secretary Cuong also talked about the socio-economic and tourism development of Quang Nam province in the past time.
Mr. Cuong hoped Quang Nam and Savannakhet to maintain a good friendship and connection in tourism development for economic growth for both sides.
Secretary and Governor Santiphap Phomvihane thanked Secretary Phan Viet Cuong for the respectful welcome and said the visit was an important event to promote the good and comprehensive cooperation between the two localities.
