(QNO) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) announced that it will collaborate with localities to promote Vietnamese tourism in 2024 through various international activities.
Vietnam will participate in the 10th Bali & Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) from June 12-14 in Bali, Indonesia, to facilitate tourism cooperation for MICE, leisure, and special tourism products.
From June 23 to July 3, a program will promote Vietnamese tourism in France (Paris), Germany (Frankfurt), and Italy (Milan).
This event allows Vietnam's tourism authorities and businesses to introduce policies, destinations, and products to the European market, fostering connections and business partnerships to attract European tourists to Vietnam.
From July 1 to 8, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will organize a tourism promotion program in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Russia, to promote Vietnam's beauty, its people, and new tourism policies aimed at attracting and recovering Russian tourists to Vietnam
During this period, "Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation 2024" will be held in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
This event aims to promote Vietnam's cultural values and tourism potential to the Russian public through artistic performances, film screenings, exhibitions, and tourism seminars, including an exhibition on "Vietnam - Land of World Heritage" and Vietnamese Film Days.
In the past 5 months, international arrivals to Vietnam reached nearly 7.6 million, up 64.9% from the same period last year and up 3.9% compared to the same period in 2019. The tourism sector aims to welcome 17-18 million international visitors and serve 110 million domestic tourists (with about 72.5 million staying overnight) in 2024, targeting total tourism revenue of around 840 trillion VND.
