Australian famtrip delegation surveys Quang Nam tourist attractions
(QNO) – On March 18 & 19, 18 representatives from the Western Sydney Tourism Association (Australia), the Vietnam - Australia Trade and Investment Promotion Center, and Australian travel companies visited Quang Nam tourist attractions.
During their visit, the delegation explored two UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage sites, including Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary, experienced local farming activities and attended a cooking class at Tra Que vegetable village, and enjoyed traditional art performances.
The delegation also visited a number of local restaurants and hotels, and talked with tourism businesses and agencies in the province to promote their cooperation on tourism development.
Australia is one of the traditional tourist markets of Quang Nam. In recent years, Australian tourists have been in the top 5 largest international tourist markets of Quang Nam.
