(QNO) - Situated along the historic Silk Road, where major maritime ships docked in the 16th and 17th centuries, Hoi An thrived as a hub of commerce and specialized services, shaping its rich heritage in bespoke craftsmanship.

In 2006, tailoring was recognized as one of Hoi An’s 50 official tourism products during the first National Tourism Year hosted by Quang Nam. That same year, Time Magazine honored Hoi An as one of the world’s fastest and most affordable tailoring destinations, renowned for its diverse designs.
