Solutions for sustainable development in Hoi An
(QNO) - On March 10, the workshop "Sharing green solutions – Collaborating for sustainable development in Hoi An" took place at Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort (Cam An ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province).

The event was attended by representatives from local management agencies and various tourism businesses.
At the workshop, a representative from Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort shared practical results from the trial operation of the Waste2Green machine - a solution that converts organic waste into compost within 24 hours.
This technology processed over 23 tons of organic waste in 2023, reducing the amount of waste transported to landfills. Additionally, it produced organic fertilizer used for the Caman Village garden, contributing to a decreased demand for chemical fertilizers.

AutoTech Vietnam, a pioneer in green technology, is committed to supporting Hoi An’s environmental and sustainable tourism efforts.
At the workshop, the company announced one month of free rental and a 5% discount on purchases for the first 10 businesses signing contracts by May 2025.

The event not only marked a milestone in the partnership between Silk Sense and AutoTech Vietnam but also highlighted the commitment of tourism businesses and local authorities to green solutions.
Organizers hoped the Waste2Green model will be widely adopted, positioning Hoi An as a pioneer in zero-waste tourism, environmental preservation, and attracting eco-conscious travelers.
