Quang Nam aims to become Vietnam’s key medicinal herb hub by developing a sustainable supply chain integrating cultivation, production, business, and research.
From 2025 to 2035, the province will build a fully integrated system from seed production to processing, meeting international standards, including those of the WHO.
By 2030, major investments will develop infrastructure in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, enhancing transport and connectivity to attract investment.
From 2036 to 2045, efforts will focus on completing infrastructure, digitizing production, and promoting Ngoc Linh ginseng in global markets.

To achieve these goals, key measures will be implemented. A strong policy framework will support industry growth, with designated land for cultivation and expanded sustainable farming in Quang Nam and nearby provinces.
Investment attraction is crucial, with infrastructure, land access, and business policies improved. Technology transfer and innovation will be promoted in research, breeding, and processing. Branding efforts will develop regional trademarks and integrate medicinal herbs into tourism and export markets.
These strategies will strengthen Quang Nam’s economy and establish it as a leading medicinal herb hub.
