Massive investments pour into Quang Nam
(QNO) - At the March 5 conference on Quang Nam's provincial planning and 2025 investment promotion, many businesses committed large-scale investments.

Over VND 40 trillion pledged for investment
At the conference, Quang Nam authorities granted investment certificates for six projects totalling over VND 1 trillion, including automotive parts, packaging, home appliances, and R&D centres by investors from South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Spain.

In addition, four major projects signed research agreements, notably the VND 7,200 billion Cua Lo shipping channel dredging, the VND 1 billion USD Nam Hoi An Resort expansion, and infrastructure projects in industrial zones, bringing total committed investment to more than VND 40 trillion.
Commitment to Partnership
At the conference, Nguyen Vinh Tran, General Director of Hoiana, said that thanks to strong support from Quang Nam authorities, the company completed key procedures for its Beach Villas project, valued at around USD 200 million.

After investing USD 1.4 billion in phase one, Hoiana plans to invest another USD 300 million in the 2ndphase, including a convention centre, exhibition space, sports facilities, and a major entertainment and shopping complex.

Banh Hao Van, General Director of Quoc Quang Energy, highlighted the province's support in helping the company grow its audio equipment production.
Quoc Quang's revenue is projected to rise from USD 80 million in 2023 to USD 350 million in 2025, with its workforce expanding to 10,000 employees.
Proposals for Development
At the conference, Do Xuan Dien, Chairman of the Quang Nam Business Association in the South, suggested enhancing tourism with new coastal, spiritual, health, and agricultural experiences, while expanding high-tech farming and improving infrastructure to support production and logistics.


Other participants called for stronger promotion of mountain tourism and faster land clearance to support investment.

In response, Quang Nam Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet confirmed Quang Nam's focus on new tourism routes, over 40 energy projects, and the goal of building 19,000 social housing units by 2030, alongside efforts to streamline procedures and improve the investment climate.
