30 students in Central Vietnam receive Germany's Wus-Hessen scholarship

(QNO) - The University of Da Nang recently held the 34th scholarship award ceremony of the Hessen Ministry of Science and Arts in collaboration with the World University Service (WUS, Germany) granting scholarships to 30 students from Central Vietnam.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Bac, Vice President of the University of Da Nang, stated that this occasion signifies the 34th consecutive year in which the Wus-Hessen Scholarship has been awarded to thirty academically distinguished students who are experiencing financial difficulties.

At the Wus-Hessen Scholarship ceremony, delegates and scholarship recipients were present.

Among the recipients, ten are students from the University of Da Nang. Each scholarship for the academic year 2024 - 2025 is valued at 216 EUR, which amounts to approximately 5.5 million VND, culminating in a total scholarship fund of 165 million VND.

Ho Thi Phuong Giang, a fourth-year student representing the student body from the University of Education - University of Da Nang, expressed her honor and pride in being awarded this esteemed international scholarship.

She affirmed her dedication to pursuing esteemed academic excellence and articulated her aspirations to study, undertake internships, and seek employment opportunities in Germany in the future.
