Hoi An among Vietnam’s most searched destinations by international tourists
(QNO) - According to Google Destinations Insights, international searches for travel in Vietnam have been rising sharply since early 2025.
From late November 2024 to January 2025, international travel searchers for Vietnam increased by 15-30% compared to the same period in 2024. Notably, in the first half of February 2025, this growth surged to 30-45%.
The top countries searching for travel to Vietnam include: United States, Australia, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and Malaysia.
Vietnam’s most searched destinations based on search volume, the most sought-after destinations in Vietnam are: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Hue, and Vung Tau.
In January 2025, Vietnam welcomed nearly 2.1 million international visitors, marking a 36.9% increase compared to January 2024. Quang Nam alone recorded around 530,000 international arrivals.
