Promoting Da Nang tourism in India
(QNO) - On February 17, Da Nang City's Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietjet Air, organized a program to promote Da Nang tourism in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India).

The event aimed to enhance tourism cooperation between Da Nang and Ahmedabad through Vietjet Air's direct flights, while promoting the “Enjoy Multi-Experience Da Nang” journey to Indian tourists.
Attendees included the Vietnamese Consul General in India, representatives from Indian tourism associations (TAAI, TAFI, OTOAI, GTAA), and over 100 tourism businesses from Ahmedabad.
The program featured various activities, including business networking, a promotional film on Da Nang tourism, information on the direct Ahmedabad-Da Nang flight, and an introduction to Da Nang's tourism products and services.

A cultural highlight of the program was the traditional Ao Dai fashion show featuring Rhea Singha, Miss Universe India 2024.
With India identified as a high-potential market, Da Nang's tourism sector is focusing on visitor preferences and experiences to make the destination more welcoming and appealing to Indian tourists.
Since 2022, India has been among Da Nang's top 5 international markets, with one in two Indian visitors to Vietnam choosing Da Nang. The city now has over 25 Indian restaurants.
In 2024, Da Nang welcomed over 222,000 Indian visitors, accounting for 5.3% of its international arrivals and nearly 50% of all Indian tourists to Vietnam (501,427).
