Quang Nam welcomes record-breaking tourist numbers during Tet holiday
(QNO) - From the 26th day of the last lunar month to the 2nd day of Lunar New Year, Quang Nam province welcomed 255,000 tourist arrivals, making a 78% increase compared to the same period last year.
To celebrate the Year of the Snake 2025, various agencies, organizations, localities, and tourism businesses in Quang Nam meticulously prepared and organized cultural and tourism events to attract visitors.
Accordingly, the total number of tourists visiting and staying in Quang Nam from the 26th day of last lunar month to the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year was estimated at 255,000, growing by 78% compared to the same period in 2024.
Among them, foreign visitors reached approximately 155,000, an 84% rise, while domestic travelers numbered 140,000, climbing by 55% compared to the previous year.
The number of overnight stays was estimated at 42,000 individuals, up 67% from 2024. This included 35,000 overseas guests, which was an increase of 64%, and 7,000 domestic sightseers, rising by 94%.
