(QNO) - Tra Que vegetable village (Quang Nam province) is a symbol of green and sustainable tourism. In 2024, the village was honored by the UN Tourism as the "Best Tourism Village in the World".

Tra Que vegetable village has been closely tied to vegetable farming since the 17th century. The locals are renowned for their unique farming methods, using fertilizer made from seaweed collected from the Co Co River, which helps the vegetables grow naturally and enhances their distinctive flavors.
The village grows over 20 types of vegetables, from leafy greens like lettuce and mustard to herbs like coriander and basil. All are cultivated organically, ensuring no chemical pesticides are used.
