Tam Ky inaugurates STEM classrooms and two digital school libraries
(QNO) - On the morning of January 9, the Tam Ky People's Committee inaugurated a digital library and STEM classrooms at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, and Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School.
As a pioneer in piloting new educational models, including STEM teaching and digital libraries, Tam Ky has invested 11.5 billion VND to pilot digital libraries and STEM classrooms, aiming to lead the province in educational digital transformation.
The STEM classroom has been designed as a multifunctional space equipped with tools, devices, and resources to support practical experiments and creativity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The STEM classroom is equipped with tools for robotics, AI, STEM coding, CNC machines, and 3D printing, while the digital library features modern management systems, 20 computers, and over 3,000 titles, including digital and traditional books.
Tam Ky aims to develop comprehensive digital education, fostering a creative learning environment and strong reading culture, while ensuring access to new educational methods and technologies for teachers and students. It will contribute to building a learning community and working towards becoming a UNESCO Global Network of Learning City.
