A gateway to the heritage zone

The trans-Vietnam luxury train tour stopped at Tra Kieu railway station in Quang Nam, introducing the province's rich heritage and rural charm.

The travellers visited key attractions, including the Au Lac cultural tourism site (Dien Ban), Tra Nhieu village (Duy Xuyen), Hoi An ancient town, and some rural spots in Cam Thanh (Hoi An).

Le Hoang Ha, Director of Duy Nhat Hoi An Tourism, highlighted the potential to boost Quang Nam premium tourism.

The "From Villages to Cities" experience blends rural and urban highlights, marking progress for Quang Nam's railway tourism as infrastructure and policies improve.

Unlocking Quang Nam's tourism gateways

Quang Nam's central location and transport infrastructure provide opportunities to boost tourism. The luxury train recently stopping at Tra Kieu highlighted the potential of railway tourism, with plans for a Central Heritage Train Journey in 2025.

Upgrading Chu Lai Airport to international status and developing Chu Lai Port for cruise ships could attract more visitors. Proposed projects like a Hoi An marina also promise to draw high-spending travellers.
