Hhigh-precision industrial component manufacturing plant in Hoi An
(QNO) - The groundbreaking ceremony for the has recently taken place at the Thanh Ha Industrial Cluster in Hoi An (Quang Nam province) for the high-precision industrial component manufacturing plant by OHNO SEIKO Vietnam Co., Ltd.
According to Pham Binh Duong, Director of OHNO SEIKO Vietnam Co., Ltd., this is the company's second project, with a VND 30 billion investment.
The 6,887-m² project will have two workshops, providing jobs for 150 locals. It is expected to come into operation in November 2025.
Ohno Ruytaro, representative of OHNO SEIKO (Japan), highlighted plans to optimise production between its facilities in Ho Chi Minh City and Hoi An to improve efficiency, costs, and speed, emphasising the company’s commitment to contributing to Hoi An development.
Deputy Chairman of the Hoi An People's Committee Nguyen The Hung stated that this is the second Japanese-invested project in the Thanh Ha Industrial Cluster.
Due to limited land and the city’s focus on environmental protection and building an eco-city, Hoi An carefully evaluates and recommends suitable investors to Quang Nam province.
