In 2024, Quang Nam achieved impressive results in investment attraction through innovative promotion strategies and an improved business environment.
The province approved 35 new domestic projects worth VND 5,168 billion and 12 FDI (foreign direct investment) projects totalling USD 148.29 million, significantly outperforming 2023 figures (3 projects and USD 23.58 million).
Key promotional activities included investment promotions in Ho Chi Minh City and Japan, alongside collaborations with local and international organisations to attract high-quality, value-added projects.
Quang Nam prioritises efficiency and professionalism, concentrates on industries with competitive advantages, and promotes regional collaboration.
Priority areas include the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and Nam Giang Border Gate Economic Zone, aiming to drive sustainable growth through strategic investments.

Quang Nam is set to become a major investment hub, guided by its 2021-2030 master plan and 2050 vision.
The province focuses on 58 priority projects and nearly 180 others in high-tech industries, circular economy, and automation, including automotive production, logistics, and hubs for pharmaceuticals, silica technology, and clean energy.
In tourism, Quang Nam promotes green tourism based on its UNESCO World Heritage sites while developing logistics centres and free trade zones.
