Da Nang promotes tourism in China's Chengdu
(QNO) - (QNO) - The Da Nang Department of Tourism (Viet Nam) held a tourism promotional program in Chengdu (China) on November 25.
During this informative program, the leader of the Da Nang Department of Tourism (DDT) introduced the city’s diverse destinations, new tourism products, events and festivals, tourism environment, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and wedding tourism.
At the program, both sides agreed to propose resuming air services between Da Nang and Chengdu, as well as devising cooperation policies to attract tourists to their destinations.
Speaking at the program, the leader of the Chengdu Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism said Da Nang, with its rich cultural and tourism resources, has just been honoured as one of the “50 Must-Visit Places in a Lifetime”, earning the esteemed title of the “Hawaii of the East” by National Geographic.
Therefore, Chengdu hoped to foster a closer cooperative relationship with Da Nang, enhance information exchange, and collaboratively develop unique tourism products that highlight cultural and creative experiences, thereby enriching the travel experience for visitors and contributing to promoting tourism development between Da Nang and Chengdu in the future.
