A delegation from Kanagawa prefecture visits Hoi An

(QNO) - On the afternoon of November 14, a working delegation from Kanagawa prefecture (Japan), led by Governor Kuroiwa Yuji, visited Hoi An ancient town, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.

The Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang, Takara Corporation (Japan), and Ambassador of the Kanagawa - Vietnam Cultural Exchange event were also present during the visit.

In September 2024, the delegation of Hoi An city participated in the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan, and the government of Kanagawa. Since 2015, the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa has been held 8 times.

According to Chairman of the Hoi An City People's Committee, Nguyen Van Son, the Japanese visit aims to promote exchange and cooperation activities between Kanagawa and Hoi An in the coming time.
