Cecile Le Pham, a culture-loving entrepreneur
(QNO) - Cecile Le Pham is a Vietnamese-French expatriate who has made her home in Vietnam. She is an entrepreneur in the textile industry and an active philanthropist. Cecile is also a lover of fine arts and a renowned collector of antiques.
Cecile has an extensive collection of artefacts, including Buddha statues, wooden items, paintings, Chinese cloisonné, ceramics, and others, currently on display in Lien Chieu (Danang). Besides, she has another collection of antiques stored at Cocodo in Hue.
Cecile Le Pham chose to invest in Vietnam's textile industry and now owns two garment factories: Dacotex in the Hoa Tho Industrial Zone (Danang) and in the Chu Lai Industrial Zone (Quang Nam). In Hue, she founded Hudatex, a joint venture in garment production, and owns the well-known Le Domaine de Cocodo hotel.
Although a businesswoman, Cecile devotes significant time and resources to charitable work, supporting minority communities and disadvantaged groups in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, and Danang. In addition, she has established two orphanages, both named Hoa Mai, in Danang and Hau Giang.
Cecile Le Pham has collected many antiques from over 40 countries, which are now preserved in the Cecile Le Pham Museum of Fine Arts, located within the Le Domaine de Cocodo Hotel (53 Ham Nghi Street, Hue) and her private villa in Danang.
The Cecile Le Pham Museum of Fine Arts has become an attractive address for locals and visitors. It is also a place for cultural activities, including museum tours, heritage storytelling, and art contests for students in Hue. These initiatives foster a love for culture and the arts, supporting young people’s growth in mind, spirit, and character.
