Tourism and biodiversity conservation
(QNO) - On October 24, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organised a famtrip program to explore ecotourism destinations associated with biodiversity conservation in Quang Nam.
Representatives from nature reserves, international organisations, businesses, and tourism experts joined the famtrip. They visited several tourist attractions, including Cam Kim community tourism village (Hoi An), VinWonders Nam Hoi An, and Phu Ninh eco-tourism area.
The delegation explored river life in Cam Kim and learned about ecosystems and aquatic resource conservation.
At VinWonders Nam Hội An, the delegation discovered the wildlife at River Safari Nam Hoi An, Vietnam's largest semi-wildlife conservation park on a river, home to over 500 animals from around 50 species.
At the Phu Ninh eco-tourism area, they took a tour around the complex of 30 islands covering over 23,000 hectares and enjoyed hot mineral foot baths and mineral baths.
The famtrip is part of the National Year of Biodiversity Restoration in Quang Nam and aims to promote ecotourism and enhance biodiversity conservation in the province.
