Quang Nam tourism developement until 2030
(QNO) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just convened an online conference to announce the master plan for cultural and sports facilities network, along with the tourism system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision toward 2045.
In the tourism system plan for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, approved by the Prime Minister, Quang Nam's tourism plays a significant role.
Quang Nam is part of a tourism development zone with Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, and Da Nang, focused on promoting tourism in the North Central and Central Coastal regions, connecting world heritage sites both domestically and internationally. It also integrates cultural tourism with urban and beach resort tourism.
Cham Islands (Hoi An) is also among 17 potential national tourism sites in the North Central and Central Coastal regions.
By 2025, Vietnam aims to be a top global destination, with tourism becoming a key economic sector by 2030 and a leading player in the Asia-Pacific by 2045.
