Quang Nam to facilitate FDI projects
(QNO) - At the meeting with FDI (foreign direct investment) businesses in 2024, Quang Nam committed to creating the best investment environment for FDI businesses.
At the meeting, FDI businesses hoped for more support from Quang Nam. They urged Quang Nam to continue supporting administrative procedures, including facilitating visas and work permits for foreign experts and simplifying investment processes.
Concurrently, these investors urged for assistance from Quang Nam regarding infrastructure, logistics costs, land clearance, wastewater management, environmental assessments, and the reduction of complex paperwork that hampers business operations.
According to Le Van Dung, Chairman of the Quang Nam People's Committee, the provincial government would be more proactive in assisting and addressing challenges for businesses. Quang Nam is committed to creating the best investment environment for FDI businesses.
Le Van Dung also mentioned that Quang Nam is focusing on implementing the new land law, attracting major investors for the development of Ky Ha Sea Port and Chu Lai Airport.
The province has also proposed upgrading National Highway 14D, a crucial route connecting the Nam Giang International Border Gate to Central Vietnam's seaports.
