Danang's economic leadership in the South Central Vietnam

(QNO) - The Danang economy reached over VND 111.589 trillion in the past 9 months, holding 17th place nationwide and leading South Central Vietnam.

The last 9 months saw a notable growth in the Danang economy. The city’s GRPD grew 6.47%, ranking 17th nationwide and leading the South Central Coast, among which service sector occupies 70.7% and industrial construction makes up 18.4% with over VND 9.043 trillion and over VND 1.551 trillion respectively.

Retail sales reached VND 103 trillion, up 14.9%, and accommodation and dining revenues rose 33.3%, serving 8.7 million visitors.

According to the Statistics Office, Danang's various solutions to sustain business and production growth have contributed to the city's economic development.

In addition, the National Assembly's approval of pilot special mechanisms and policies for Da Nang, including the establishment of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, will further boost the city's future growth.
