Quang Nam to host the 2024 Asian Open Junior Pickleball Championships
(QNO) - The 2024 Asian Open Junior Pickleball Championships will take place from October 3 to 7 at the Pickleball Court Complex of Ban Thach Hotel in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.
The opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled to take place on October 5, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam in collaboration with the Asian Pickleball Federation and the DHL Event Media Joint Stock Company.
Over 100 athletes from Malaysia, Japan, China, India, Taiwan, and Vietnam will compete for 12 set of medals in various categories, including men's and women's singles, as well as men's and women’s doubles, from U12 to U16.
The tournament facilitates engagement with the Asian Pickleball Federation's management and promotes training to develop Pickleball in the province.
It also boosts sports activities linked to tourism, showcasing Quang Nam's scenic spots, cultural traditions, history, potential, and socio-economic achievements to athletes and visitors.
