2.5 million shrimp post larvae exported to Taiwan market
(QNO) - On the afternoon of September 23, Kim Hoang Quang Nam Aquatic Breeding JSC held a handover ceremony for 2.5 million shrimp larvae to its partner, YONG SING SEAFOODS CO., LTD, for export to Taiwan (China).
Kim Hoang Quang Nam officially entered the shrimp farming industry in 2024. At the signing ceremony with YONG SING SEAFOODS CO., LTD, the partner placed an order for 2.5 million Mebi One shrimp larvae, valued at $10,000, with a target of achieving $300,000 in exports for the 2024 - 2025 period.
Mebi One shrimp larvae are produced using advanced, closed-loop production processes, with parent stock imported from the United States.
The company operates a modern facility on 8.5 hectares in Binh Nam commune, Thang Binh district, which includes a 4.5-hectare shrimp larvae production area and 4 hectares dedicated to support infrastructure and technology transfer.
With an annual production capacity of 5 billion larvae, the facility is equipped with comprehensive systems for algae cultivation, Artemia production, and high-tech shrimp breeding.
