Pharmaceutical industry development
(QNO) - Quang Nam has issued a plan to implement the National Strategy for Pharmaceutical Industry Development by 2030, with a vision to 2045, in order to ensure a timely, high-quality, and affordable supply of medicines, develop local medicinal resources, and optimise safe and effective drug use, especially in emergency situations.

By 2030, the plan seeks to provide a 100% timely medication supply for medical emergencies and healthcare, with over 70% of drug expenditures going towards domestic products.
It also focusses on industrialising Ngoc Linh ginseng production and processing, making it a key product for Quang Nam's pharmaceutical industry.
The plan also aims to ensure all healthcare institutions in Quang Nam use drugs properly and effectively implement clinical pharmacy services in all provincial healthcare institutions.
Key solutions include improving policies, regulations, and investments, as well as enhancing drug quality management and ensuring safe, effective medication use.
