More than 1,500 athletes participated in the TMG Hoi An Heritage Marathon 2024
(QNO) - On September 15, the Hoi An Youth Union and the Hoi An Youth Federation, in collaboration with the Hoi An Runner's Community, organized the "TMG Hoi An Heritage Marathon 2024" to celebrate the upcoming 8th Congress of the Quang Nam Youth Federation.
More than 1,500 professional athletes from various provinces, along with youth, locals, and international tourists, competed in distances of 5km, 10km, 21km, and 30km, passing cultural and natural landmarks in Hoi An such as Tra Que vegetable village, Bay Mau nipa palm forest, and Cua Dai beach, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
The organizers awarded prizes to the top 5 male and female athletes in each category. Additionally, they contributed 25 million VND to support residents in Northern Vietnam affected by natural disasters.
