Hoi An promotes its tourism in Japan’s Kanagawa
(QNO) - A delegation from Hoi An city, Quang Nam province participated in the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa Prefecture (Japan) in 2024 on September 7 and 8.
In the opening ceremony of the festival, Chairman of Hoi An city People's Committee, Nguyen Van Son, introduced Hoi An culture and tourism to a large number of people, and travel companies in Japan.
In addition, a Hoi An tourism booth decorated with colourful lanterns from the support of Takara Company attracted the attention of Japanese people and the Vietnamese community in Japan.
The Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa in 2024 was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan and the Kanagawa Prefecture’s authority under the theme “The Flower of Exchange - Beautiful Vietnam”.
It has been the 8th Vietnam Festival opened in Kanagawa Prefecture since 2015.
In 2023, a delegation from Kanagawa Prefecture led by Governor Kuroiwa Yuji had a working visit to Hoi An city.
