Quang Nam tourism promotion at HCMC Expo 2024

(QNO) - The 18th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City - (ITE HCMC) 2024 under the theme “Responsible Tourism - Creating Future" was officially opened on the morning of September 5 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The ITE HCMC 2024 draws the participation of 38 provinces and cities nationwide, and international partners from South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, etc.

The ITE HCMC 2024 takes place with a hybrid format, a combination of physical booths and online events such as 2D Online Booths, and Online Appointment Schedules between international buyers and sellers.

At the expo, the Quang Nam tourism industry coordinates with Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri to set up a 90m2 common booth named Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage.

The Quang Nam tourism industry are accompanied by 9 units and enterprises, including the Hoi An city’s Department of Culture and Information, Almanity Hoi An Resort & Spa, Bellerive Hoi An Resort & Spa, Citadines Pearl Hoi An, Hoi An Historic Hotel, Moodhoian Riverside Resort & Spa, Wafaifo Resort Hoi An, Venus Travel Hoian, and Bamboo Kitchen Restaurant.

On this occasion, the Quang Nam tourism industry displays publications, items, and local OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products and introduces local tourism destinations, products, and services, etc. to the public.

According to the Management Board of ITE HCMC 2024, the expo from September 5 to 7, is expected to symbolize the resilience, strength, and creativity of the Vietnam tourism industry in a period of unprecedented volatility and difficulty in the global tourism industry; a networking platform for coordination and mutual support of tourism associations and local tourism businesses across the country to promote the domestic tourism market.

The event also creates synergy to improve the competitiveness and attractiveness of Vietnam’s tourism to other countries in the region when the international tourism market reopens after the COVID-19 pandemic.
