(QNO) - The Dai Binh Cultural and Tourism Festival 2024 was officially launched on August 23rd. A large number of local residents and travellers took part in the event to explore and experience various cultural, sporting, and local culinary activities.

The Dai Binh Cultural and Tourism Festival 2024 was running from August 23rd to 25th in Dai Binh village (Trung Phuoc town, Nong Son district, Quang Nam province).

The Dai Binh Cultural and Tourism Festival 2024 offered several vibrant activities that highlight the unique cultural heritage of the region. Visitors can enjoy artistic fruit displays, women's volleyball, traditional boat racing, folk games, and performance art.

The festival also provided cultural experiences, such as the 'Dai Binh Memories' space, acoustic music, Bai Choi performance art, local cuisine, fruit, and OCOP products.

Dai Binh tourism development has been a local strategic priority for years. Its goals are investment attraction, tour linkage, and local tourism potential promotion.

In addition to hightlighting Dai Binh distinctive cultural and natural resources, the strategy for tourism development aimed to provide long-term economic advantages through creating sustainable livelihoods for the community.

The Dai Binh Cultural and Tourism Festival has played a key role in the local cultural heritage preservation and promotion. Since its inception in 2019, the festival has become a significant event, attracting more and more travellers to Nong Son.

In the festival 2024, visitors had the opportunity to explore several historical and cultural sites in the village, such as the Ngũ Nương (Five Ladies) Temple, Dai Binh Pagoda, a 100-year-old house, fruit gardens, and others.

Dai Binh village was established in 1778 under the Thai Duc dynasty. It is located in northern Trung Phuoc town. The village is famous for fruit, such as pomelo and langsats.
