Hoi An lantern and Apsara dances into art show at Da Nang International Terminal
(QNO) - On August 16th, the Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Jsc. (AHT) announced it will expand and renew the "Heritage Road" art performance program at Danang International Terminal 2 - Da Nang International Airport, starting from August 2024.
Launched in December 2022, the "Heritage Road" has become a cultural highlight at Terminal 2, offering over 330 unique performances every week from Thursday to Sunday, including traditional theater, music, and dance from various regions.
Mr. Do Trong Hau, Deputy General Director of AHT, stated that AHT decided to collaborate with one of the leading art institutions in Central Vietnam - Da Nang College of Culture and Arts, to further enhance the quality and diversify the performances.
Passengers at Da Nang International Terminal will have the opportunity to enjoy local cultural performances, including lotus dance, traditional musical instrument ensemble, Hoi An lantern dance, "Arirang" monochord solo, Apsara dance…
With this collaboration, AHT aims for the "Heritage Road" to enhance travelers' pre-flight experiences and boost Da Nang's appeal as a cultural tourist destination.
