Indonesian famtrip delegation experiences Da Nang and Quang Nam's tourism products
(QNO) - An Indonesian delegation, including a total of 35 representatives from travel companies, had a famtrip to survey tourism products in Da Nang and Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) from July 15 to 19.
The event is part of the plan to promote the opening of the direct flight between Indonesia and Da Nang, expected to be launched in October 2024.
During their 5-day stay, the famtrip delegation visited a number of tourist attractions, surveying tourism products and services in Da Nang and Hoi An to exchange cooperation opportunities in the coming time.
This is considered the premise for Da Nang and Quang Nam to expand the potential Indonesian international tourist market with more than 280 million people, the world's 4th most populous country in the world and the largest population in Southeast Asia.
In early 2024, the Da Nang Department of Tourism coordinated with the Indonesian Travel Association ASTIDO and the Da Nang Tourism Association to welcome a famtrip delegation of 35 representatives of travel agencies from Indonesia to survey the quality of services, destinations, and tourism products in Da Nang and Quang Nam.
