New Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam visits Hoi An
(QNO) - Leaders of Quang Nam province and Hoi An city welcomed the delegation of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam to visit Hoi An ancient town on the afternoon of July 5.
The delegation was led by ITO Naoki, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam (in office since May 2024), along with his wife.
The delegation also included HIRATA Isao, First Secretary (Economic Affairs); HIROMATSU Mitsutaka, Third Secretary (Culture and Press); and SHIMONISHI Kiyoshi, Deputy Consul General of Japan in Da Nang.
The delegation of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam visited the ancient town of Hoi An along the route: Nguyen Thai Hoc Street - Chua Cau Loop - Japanese Covered Bridge - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street - Japanese Cultural Exhibition House - Vietnam-Japan Cultural Space - Cam Pho Communal House - Red Seal ship.
The visit finished on the afternoon of the same day. Quang Nam and Hoi An leaders saw the delegation off at Hoai River Square.
