Hoi An among top sustainable destinations for tourism in Vietnam
(QNO) - According to Booking.com's Sustainable Travel Report 2024, Hoi An is one of the best destinations in Vietnam for travelers to experience sustainable tourism in 2024.
Booking.com ranks Hoi An among Vietnam's top six destinations for third-party certified sustainable accommodations, along with Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Ha Giang, Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), and Song Cau (Phu Yen).
Hoi An is described as a must-visit destination for international travelers to Vietnam. Visitors can experience traditional culture, explore the moss-covered old town with its well-preserved ancient houses, witness talented artisans creating handmade products.
Visitors can also take part in a journey through the Bay Mau coconut forest (Cam Thanh commune) on bamboo basket boats, observe locals casting nets, and enjoy unique basket boat performances.
Tourists can also participate in traditional lantern-making classes and create their own handmade lanterns as souvenirs.
