Hoi An participates in Vietnam Festival 2024 in Osaka
(QNO) - - On April 27&28, a delegation from Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) participated in several activities within the framework of Vietnam Festival 2024 in Osaka (Japan).
The festival was jointly held by the Vietnamese General Consulate in Osaka in collaboration with the administrations of Japanese prefectures in the Kansai region and Vietnamese associations and organisations.
Present at the event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan - Pham Quang Hieu, Vietnamese Consul General in Fukuoka - Vu Chi Mai, Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka - Ngo Trinh Ha and Japanese local government representatives.
The festival aims to popularise Vietnamese cultural values, including Hoi An culture, among the international community. It attracted a large number of booths displaying culture, tourism - services, the cuisine of Vietnam in general and Hoi An city in particular, and visitors.
The event is attractive not only to the Vietnamese living in Japan but also to a large number of Japanese people and tourists.
Participating in the Vietnamese festival in Osaka helps Hoi An widely promote its cultural tourism potential to Japanese visitors.
