Quang Nam leaders’ wishes to Lao Consulate General in Da Nang city

(QNO) - On April 11, Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet led a group of officials to visit the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang city on the occasion of Lao traditional New Year (Bunpimay) in 2024.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Nam province, Secretary Triet wished Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang and all staff of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang a healthy, happy, and prosperous new year.

In addition, Secretary Triet hoped the special relationship between Vietnam - Laos in general, Quang Nam and Lao provinces, including Sekong, and a number of southern provinces of Laos in particular, would be increasingly tightened, bringing benefits to the people of the two countries.

Secretary Triet expressed his desire that officials and employees of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang will continue to support Quang Nam in concretizing the cooperation programs for East - West Economic Corridor development.

In reply, Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang expressed his joy when welcoming the Quang Nam delegation on the occasion of the Bunpimay festival. He also thanked Quang Nam leaders for their special attention to the Consulate General of Laos over recent years.

Besides, Souphanh Hadaoheuang expressed his firm belief in the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States and the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos, between Quang Nam province and Southern Laos localities to be developed and reap more positive results in the future.
