Quang Nam - Champasak comprehensive cooperation promotion
(QNO) - On the occasion of the Bunpimay Festival, a delegation of Quang Nam leaders, led by Provincial Party Committee Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, visited and sent the best wishes to Champasak province (Laos) on April 3rd.
Vilayvong Butdakham, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Champasak Province, received the delegation.
On behalf of the Quang Nam delegation, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet sent the best wishes to Champasak leaders and people on the occasion of the Lao traditional Bunpimay Festival 2024.
At the same time, he congratulated Champasak on the provincial achievements in socio-economic development.
Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also talked about the cooperative relationship between the two provinces, promising trade, investment, tourism, culture, and education cooperation to Champasak.
Quang Nam will give a priority to education and human resources training. There are currently over 160 Lao students from Champasak studying in Quang Nam.
Reportedly, Duy Xuyen (Quang Nam, Vietnam) and Pakse (Champasak, Laos) own world cultural heritages, My Son Sanctuary and Wat Phou. So, they have had cooperation and experience exchange on heritage conservation.
Concurrently, several businesses in Quang Nam have invested in Champasak to exploit its great potential in agriculture, forestry, and tourism. Among them is THACO.
Quang Nam will keep calling on provincial potential businesses to invest in Champsak, thereby promoting comprehensive cooperation and development between Quang Nam and Champasak.
Vilayvong Butdakham thanked Quang Nam leaders for their visit and wishes. He also expressed his deep gratitude to the Quang Nam Party Committee, government, and people for their aid and support for Champasak development. He wished Quang Nam and Champasak a better and better relationship.
