Quang Nam Party Secretary visits General Consulate of Vietnam in Laos
(QNO) - On the occasion of a working visit to the southern provinces of Laos, a group of Quang Nam officials led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet visited the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse (Laos) on April 3rd.
At the meeting, Secretary Triet informed the Consul General of good twinning activities with Sekong province of Laos in recent times.
The situation of national defense and security in the Quang Nam - Sekong border area is guaranteed. Quang Nam also maintains its support for Champasak students studying in the province.
Secretary Triet also thanked the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse for supporting Quang Nam to well implement twining relations and comprehensive cooperation with Sekong province, and cooperate with Champasak province on trade, investment, tourism, culture, and education.
On this occasion, the Quang Nam delegation sent the best wishes and gifts to the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse on the occasion of the Bunpimay Festival, or Lao traditional New Year 2024.
