Gifts from Quang Nam to Lao people
(QNO) - In conjunction with the Bunpimay Festival, the Military Command of Quang Nam visited Kaleum District in Sekong Province, Laos, on March 28. Medical examinations, medication distribution, and gift-giving to the Lao people were all part of the visit.
As a result, the villagers of Ta Vang, Keo, Bha'Le, A Ching, Pa Noon, and Abul received 300 gifts. Each of them was worth VND500 thousand, including rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, salt, cooking oil, and dried fish. It was hoped to provide the villagers with a happy and cosy Bunpimay Festival.
Additionally, at a total cost of VND 350 million, over 800 people received free medical examinations and medications over a 3-day course, from March 26 to 28, thanks to the Quang Nam Provincial Military Command and the Quang Nam Department of Health.
The aim of the gathering was to strengthen the special friendship and solidarity that exists between Quang Nam and Sekong in particular, as well as between Vietnam and Laos in general.
