Cham Islands welcomes a large number of international visitors every day
(QNO) - Since the Lunar New Year 2024, hundreds of tourists have been visiting Cham Islands (Tan Hiep commune, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) every day, a positive signal for this destination.
Tourists are impressed by the natural environment, cool and fresh air, friendly and hospitable locals, delicious food, and notably, Cham Islands being the only of its kind in Vietnam that does not use plastic bags, making it a unique destination in Vietnam.
Each day, Tan Hiep commune welcomes approximately 300-400 tourists, a number that significantly rises during weekends, reaching nearly 1,000 visitors per day. Notably, international tourists outnumber domestic visitors on Cham Islands.
Not only at destinations in remote areas like Bai Lang, Bai Ong, Bai Xep, but also in places like Bai Huong, there are over 100 tourists visiting and staying each day, mostly international visitors.
"Recently, the number of visitors to Cham Islands has increased compared to the same period last year. We hope that this summer, more tourists will come to Cham Islands," said Mr. Phan Hung, Director of Ngan Ha Tourism Company, in Bai Lang village, Tan Hiep commune.
