The traditional craft villages provides an advantage for Dien Ban rural tourism.

With a location not too far from Hoi An, Dien Ban plays the role of an outer satellite destination for the ancient town.

Over the past decade, the rural areas of Dien Ban have attracted a considerable number of visitors, particularly from Europe and Australia.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, several community tourism destinations have emerged in Dien Ban, such as Triem Tay (Dien Phuong) and Cam Phu (Dien Phong), showing positive initial results.

Foreign tourists are fascinated by the rural landscape and scenery of Dien Ban village.

If Triem Tay village has established its brand on the map of Quang Nam's rural tourism, Cam Phu or the cluster of craft villages in Dong Khuong (Dien Phuong) are gradually becoming the focal points for travel companies and foreign tourists.

Mr. Le Duc Ha, owner of Le Duc Ha pottery workshop, stated that although still in the experimental stage, visitors highly appreciate the tourism services and products here, especially experiences like making pottery.

In recent years, rural tourism has been a priority in Dien Ban. Following the initial success of community-based tourism models in Triem Tay and Cam Phu villages, tourism development projects have been ongoing since 2021 in Tan Binh village (Dien Trung commune) and neighboring areas.

The destination of Le Duc Ha pottery village attracts many tourists.

In the urban development program until 2030 and 2045, Dien Ban sets the goal of continuing to develop local tourism, diversifying products to serve visitors.

Especially, there is an emphasis on combining cultural tourism with ecotourism, forming and connecting tours within and outside the urban areas. It is easy to see that out of the 10 planned zones, half are related to tourism.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee, noted that the diverse natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and accessible transportation infrastructure have provided a strong foundation for the development of rural tourism

Dien Ban will further develop destinations like Cam Phu village and Tan Binh village, along with nearby historical sites like Ben Den, the tomb of Hoang Dieu, etc.

This aims to fully utilize the tourism potential of the Go Noi village area, enhancing visitors' experiences along the journey through Quang Nam tourism, particularly along the heritage route connecting Hoi An ancient town and the My Son Sanctuary in Duy Xuyen district.
