(QNO) - Deputy Prime Minister (PM) Tran Luu Quang, on a business trip to Quang Nam, visited the Chu Lai - Truong Hai Complex on March 16.

According to a representative of THACO (Truong Hai Auto Corporation), THACO is implementing a strategy of building itself into a multi-industry group in the fields of automobiles, agriculture, mechanics - supporting industries, investment. - construction, trade - services, and logistics.

In Chu Lai, THACO builds an ecosystem of automobile production and assembly centers, mechanical engineering and supporting industries, agro-forestry processing, and logistics.

In this ecosystem, there are seven investment projects that were approved by Quang Nam province at the conference announcing the provincial master plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, on March 16.

They include the production factories for mechanical electrical refrigeration, electric wire for passenger cars, high-end car glass, car body frames, and body parts, passenger car interiors, seats for passenger cars, and an R&D center, expanding and upgrading Chu Lai port in the Tam Hiep port area.

THACO member enterprises in Chu Lai committed to taking new initiatives for change, completing set goals, and contributing to the province's socio-economic development.

On this occasion, Deputy PM Quang and his delegation visited Chu Lai port and listened to THACO representatives introduce investment strategies and projects for expanding export products to Laos and different Southeast Asian countries in the near future.
