Two cities Tam Ky and Fukuoka exchanged experiences on environmental protection
(QNO) - In the meeting with the representatives of the HABITATE Organisation and Fukuoka city (Japan) on 22nd September, Mr Nguyen Van Lua, Chairman of Tam Ky city People’s Committee introduced about the brief description scheme of Tam Ky urban space in coming years. In which, the main attention is to build a green city and environmental protection.
Sharing experiences on environmental protection, the experts of HABITAT and Fukuoka city introduced Fukuoka as a environmental friendly city. It was ranked the 12th in the list of the most World’s livable cities. In Fukuoka city, the waste water management and procession have implemented well by bio-technical system. It which helps to prevent environmental pollution by reusing processed waste water and recycling garbage.
The experts of HABITAT and Fukuoka city visited the waste water processing zone in Tam Ky city Healthcare Center, Solid garbage processing zone in Tam Xuan 1 commune and the place will be built the Tam Ky city waste water processing plant in Hoa Huong ward.
