Hoi An city develops community-based tourism
(QNO) - After 9 months of carrying out the “ Developing the accommodations services” project, Hoi An city authority licensed for 100 new tourist accommodations, including 71 home-stay establishments, 10 hotels, and 19 villas. Up to now, 39 home-stay establishments and 19 villas have been completed and put into operation, bringing the total tourist accommodations of the city to 105 with 4,350 rooms.
In first 9 months of 2013, Hoi An city welcomed 1.3 million tourist arrivals, an increase of 22.9% over the same period last year. This is also the first good result of the key plan of developing community-based tourism of Hoi An city Tourism.
