"Japanese Cultural Days in Hoi An" brought happy and joyful days to tourists
(QNO) - The Hoianians and tourists had another chance to enjoy an unique traditional art programme “Japanese Cultural Days in Hoi An” organised in three days from 9-11 August 2014 by the People’s Committee of Hoi An City and Japanese who are living in this ancient town.

The beautiful features and characters of Japanese culture such as Tea ceremony, toys making, traditional dances, modern fashion , Yukata costume performance, Sakura decorative art, Rakugo – Japanese comedy, Japanese films…were introduced to the viewers.

Many tourists also participated in some artistic activities: community dancing, colouring pages, answering Hoi An – Japan quizzes, studying Japanese communicative language, watermelon breaking game, Japanese traditional dance, Bon-Odori, making Japanese cake, soap class, enjoying Japanese traditional dishes, Hoi An legendary night …

On this occasion, a lullaby show entitled “Ao lua tang me” (Silk dresses for mothers) was organised at An Hoi Sculpture Garden and many turtles were released at the Cham Island dock.
