Handicraft and fine arts exchange between Hoi An and Gwangji city (Korea)

(QNO) - From 1.12 to 5.12.2014, Hoi An city and Gwangji City (Korea) will hold the first handicraft and fine arts exchange 2014 in Hoi An.

The exchange program will include many activities such as: signing up the development cooperation in culture, art and handicraft products; cooperative production and consumption of products between 2 cities; workshop – seminar on developing products; professional exhibition, introduction and performance…

On this occasion, Hoi An city will introduce typical handicraft products such as: lanterns, Thanh Ha pottery, Kim Bong carpentry, Cam Thanh bamboo and coconut leaves knitting, Cham Island sycamore hammock weaving…The Korean  (craftsmans) craftsmen will exhibit and perform Korean traditional crafts such as: fabric, paper, bamboo handicrafts…

This program will contribute to the introduction and promotion of cultural professions and traditional handicraft products in Hoi An and Gwangji cities to domestic and foreign tourists.
